Got mine working again!
I was able to download the firmware from Garmin website and the "Garmin Cure" from the gpspower-forum.
It was a bit of a pain to get the timing just right with the preboot-mode.
Unlike in "daniel87"'s case, I got an error when trying to launch the "updater.exe" from "Garmin Cure".
Noticed that it made a temp folder under the folder it was ran. Moved the "updater.exe" -file to this folder and ran it from there without any problems.
The "cure" option in "Garmin Cure" worked fine, but the "original" option did not work. It jammed the device.
Finally I ended up formatting the whole device using "RMPrepUSB" software and installed new firmware with the "Garmin Cure".
This trick worked and now the device is working properly!
I copied all the files from the Zumo before formatting. This was a good thing, because I was able to copy back the right language and keyboard files.
Did not install any Garmin-maps, because for some reason this take hours to finish.
Running the device with osm-maps and maps from the National Land Survey of Finland.

Good result.

Did you get the firmware? I downloaded mine from this address : The spelling and capital letters needs to be exactly the same.
