All is good unless the device recalculates and it is pretty hard to keep it from recalculating at some point.
On my Nav VI, I experimented with auto recalculate, recalculate off and prompt but I was never happy with any of them because they each came with pitfalls.........If we want to ride/drive safe, we do not need to be looking at the screen or having to press buttons.
The 660 was the best at following the gpx route and it is too bad that Garmin didn't just keep the guts of the 660 and improve the screen. Most of us don't need all of the new bells and whistles that they have added to later Zumos and BMW Navs.
When I was riding, I tried to keep things as simple as possible but I found that dealing with the gpx routes was one of the most distracting things to deal with during a ride.
