Morning. I have updated everything I'm on v6.4 (when checked via Properties) express, I dont get the option to PC only. also the latest map for my 595LMTE its not a problem I can get the latest maps when the Zumo is connected.
But if you follow my instructions, you should be able to plan using the right maps without needing the Zumo to be connected.
As I said above I dont get that option its not a problem

If you don't it can only be because you've recently bought the device and it has the latest maps. Once you do your first update after the next map release you will be able to.

Not if you bought a device with up to date maps, Express won't offer a map update or reinstall until a new map is out.

Yes it does - for me. Check my document and let me know which bit doesn't work for you

I can't as I've updated all my devices. It'll work for you too but it won't if someone buys a new device with maps already up to date. Express won't even show an update until the next map release. At least that's how it used to be and it caused great confusion at times, perhaps Garmin has changed how Express behaves but I've seen no mention of it if they have in any of the changelogs.

All my devices are up to date. But I still get the option of saving maps to my PC. My document has screen shots. Are they different for you?

Maybe I'm not being clear, I get the same. But for Express to give the option you must have a device that has previously been updated. A new device, with an up to date map, has never had an update. Until it gets the first map update Express won't give the option to reinstall the map or install it to the PC.

Have you made sure that the map was loaded into your GPS AND your computer. You have the option of doing one or the other or both. Not much detail in the base map but it's all there if you load it with current maps.
