Latest XT2/Tread software version

I'm using 2.9.55 and 4.8. I have mine set to not synch to explore/tread. I still get weather and traffic. I just used it last weekend and it worked great with my basecamp routes.

Memory is wonderful. I wish that I had such a thing.

As it turned out, I think screen displays might have changed - I was unsure about which bit to ignore. I've just done it though and it is exactly what I hoped for - but when I tried before I couldn't find an obvious section to ignore.

Then I thought I would give Tread a serious exercise - see if it was what I hoped that it would be. It tries to be all that I hoped it would be, but I haven't found a part of it which actually works to my satisfaction. I always liked the collections idea from the XT1 / Explore system - so it is good that that has all been introduced to the XT2.

I've just dropped @Javelin16 a private message. I re-read the 13 pages of posts in which he found, tested and reported these issues long before I had ever set eyes on an XT2. I was trying to help him with the bits that I thought might apply from the XT1. But I had forgotten much of that research and conversation - around 10 months ago. It was nice to revisit it and realise how much effort he had put into problems that I hadn't even encountered. And your scattered contributions containing some real insights !
