BASECAMP + OSX 10.11 + ZUMO XT = CRASH

Hi, I have a Mac with SO El Captain and a Zumo XT. I downloaded from Garmin site Basecamp version 4.7.0, cause a software bug as soon as the navi is connected to the Mac, the system crashed. I found Basecamp version 4.8.3 but this also has a USB bug and does not recognize the Zumo. Maybe someone can help me and have a later version, as 4.8.4 or 4.8.6 or another that support osx 10.11? Thanx

Garmin stopped supporting OS 10.11 as of BC 4.8:
Changes made from version 4.7.0 to 4.8.3:
Upgraded app to 64-bit.
Dropped support for Mac OS 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12.
Fixed issue where certain poi files would use large amounts of memory.

Make sure Garmin Express is not running in background or at all or Basecamp will not recognize it. Also no other App that would connect to XT. I use Android File Transfer App to connect direct to XT and inserted SD Card and I need to make sure it is turned off.
This morning I was having issues getting Basecamp to see the XT and I restarted my Mac and the XT to get it to resolve.

basecamp 4.8.3 runs on osx 10.11, it is now installed on my macbook. I called Garmin customer service: they replied me that these are bugs they know and would let me know how to fix it but I have heard noone.
