PC doesn't recognise XT when plugged into a USB 3 port

Not sure if its just me but if i plug the cable from my XT into a USB 3 port on my PC, Garmin Express doesn't recognise it and I eventually get a system error message. If I plug it into a USB 2 socket on the PC its fine.
No big shakes but I'm wondering it my PC is at fault etc.

My laptop does the same with my 595. 1 usb port is for charging only. Base Camp & GE see the device only on the other 2 usb ports.

Probably not related, but I have one USB cord that will only allow charging the XT. The PC will not recognize the XT using that particular cord.

Good point. However in this case the same lead only seems to work in my USB 2 port. Its looking like its a PC related issue.
