For every different device, the size of the download is different. For my 590, the download is North America, Mexico, Canada and the USA. It’s over 6 GB!
I posted a topic in the 590 forum asking for advice about how this update gets handled since the internal memory of the 590 isn’t big enough to take it, or that’s how it appears.

I connected my 595 to my laptop and started Garmin Express. GE said I have a map update to "City Navigator North America NT 2022.2". So I do the usual:
Map Options, Install to device and computer, agree.
GE does it's thing but it's a complete joke. I have the maps on both the 595 and on the computer but they show only the major roads. Anything smaller than a major state hwy isn't available or seen.
Plain and simple please, how do I remove this garbage map set from my computer and my 595 and revert back to the previous version of maps (2022.1)?

Nevermind. In my frustration, I unplugged the device from my laptop and turned it off & put the laptop to sleep as I normally do. After spending a couple hrs mowing the yard and calming down, I came back to find that everything both on the device and in Base Camp is working as I expect it to.
Except of the damn battery. It's dead again. What a POS!
Thanks anyway.

What can I do if CN NA 2022.20 is not available in BaseCamp? It is on my zumo, but not an option on BaseCamp. I have version 4.7.4 of BaseCamp.

Use Express to install it to your PC.

Please Help!
I install the new version 2022.20 on both my Garmin Zumo XT and Base Camp. Just like mentioned in this post, I'm missing some details; smaller roads. With Base Camp I'm able to switch it back to the previous version: 2022.10, but can't on GPS. I'll called Garmin and they say it's not possible ....
Anyone know if possible ???
Also, if I created routes via Base Camp with previous version and import to my GPS with the new version ...
What will happened on small roads that are not on the GPS.
I'm scared to get in trouble on the road.
Thoughts please!

If you are only displaying major roads after the upgrade check to see if your map is unlocked. I had the same thing happen to me and I found that the CN NA 2022.20 was locked so it was displaying like the base map. I had to reinstall in on my computer to get it unlocked. Garmin is defiantly having software problems in my opinion.

Ensure you're running latest version of Express as this was a problem with some earlier recent versions. You should then be able to choose reinstall map.
Note first check in Settings, Map&Vehicle, myMaps and ensure the map is checked.
