Basecamp's track's properties includes a column heading labeled "temperature". When I ride my motorcycle with my zumo 590LM it displays the ambient temperature.

Why does the Basecamp track properties column labeled "temperature" have no content? Is is always blank even though the zumo was recording ambient temp.

Probably because while your Zumo displays it it doesn't record it.

IIRC my 550 used the Tempe data to record the temperature, along with speed and altitude, and then these could be displayed in Basecamp. The 595 doesn't seem to use the Tempe, but my Virb camera does.
