Sharing Topo map?

hi there
I need Sweden Topo V6 map on my XT, but its pretty expensive to buy, but my friend have it, so anyone knows if its possible to share or is it registered to his unit only?
when you buy is coming on an SD card

If it's a Garmin map they are normally locked to the device.
