Good evening peeps
does anyone know how much power the XT draws when powered on, assuming full volume and brightness.

Thank you for the link, however, there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer, I want to know what size fuse to use in my Fuzeblock.

2A is what the charging converter is rated at

5A would be fine

I would be going 10A to be on the safe side

I think 10 amp is a bit ott ;) :D I have a 5 amp at the moment, I would be very surprised and slightly worried if it blew the 5 amp fuse.

In reality you can put any fuse above 5A and if it blew I would be worried as its indicates a fault ;)

As I say 5A will suffice just carry a 10A spare just incase

Sorry to say that the XT power consumption is not listed in its manual or anywhere on the Interwebs that I can find. However, I do still have my zumo 660 manual and it says maximum consumption is 10 watts. So crank in a fudge factor for the XT having a brighter screen and call it 12 watts as a semi-educated guess. That would come out to one amp draw from a 12-volt battery ( a bit less when the engine is running and the alternator is supplying 14 volts).
