Hello everyone, I am a Zumo XT user from China. When I use the system language to navigate for Chinese, the content in the upper left corner is usually omitted, which makes me very distressed. Is there any good solution? thanks

How is it when you use the XT landscape? (Turn 90, or 270 degrees)

Thank you for your reply. I have tried the solution you mentioned, but the problem still exists.

Are you using this in China? It places all sorts of limitations on technology, this may simply be one of them.

If you're not in China and it works when you select English try calling Garmin and discuss the issue with them, it wouldn't be the first time that using a non English language caused display issues.

This issue only occurs when using Chinese. I tried to switch to another language, but there was no such issue. I observed that when using Chinese, the left part of the green banner was relatively short, so the content could not be fully displayed.

Additionally, I believe that modifying 'zh_CN. glx' can solve this problem, but currently I have not found the location for the modification.

As I suggested then, call Garmin and discuss it with them

I have previously contacted Garmin and received the following response:
“Hello,Regarding the navigation device page display issue you provided feedback, the engineer replied that as the device is not a national travel device, there may be some differences in language display compatibility. This is the product design.thanks”

It's an answer, but a pretty poor one. Garmin is just saying they don't care and they are not interested in fixing the problem.

If a GPS is not a "national travel device", what is it?
Why supply the GPS with national and international maps if we are not expected to use them for travel?

Why would Garmin even offer a language option that is incompatible with the display?
