I am Jean, 53 yo, from the Riviera, on a 1250 GS with an XT and always looking for good tricks and advice.

Don't believe @jfheath when he says he doesn't have any tricks. He is one of many humble gentlemen on this forum who are an invaluable source of tricks (tricks = tips).
