Track colour - can it be changed?

Hi. I’ve just purchased an XT2. It’s got a really nice display compared to my old Zumo 595. However, even though I think I’ve got all of the ‘Collections’ stuff turned off, when I’ve created a route that I want to ride, I get lots of other magenta coloured lines, which I think are the XT’s alternative route ‘suggestions’. That means I often get a whole mess of magenta coloured lines, which means that it can be difficult for me to easily see my intended road. Is there a way of either changing the colour of my route line from magenta to something else, or even better, a way of turning off those other magenta lines?
Thanks
Regards
Tony

Sorry that you haven't had a response to this.
Have you solved it ?
Magenta is usually used only for the single active route, so I am not sure what you are seeing. I thought maybe you had tracks showing - for which you had assigned the colour magenta - but you say that all of your collections are turned off - does that include the unorganised collection ?

Hi. Thanks for your reply. It was a bit strange - I turned all of the ‘layers’ back on then turned off the XT2. I left it for a few minutes then turned on the XT2 again and switched all of the layers back off again. I’m not sure what that did but it’s now working ok. Sometimes these ‘wonderful’ features are just too random to fathom out!
Thanks again
Tony

With Explore / Tread and the XT / XT2 there will be a delay while the data comes from the Garmin Servers to your phone 3G/4G/5G data connection and then from there via BT to your XT. If there is a lot of data to Synch, it can take a little time - especially when your head is saying this new wireless technology is better. It maybe, but it certainly isn't faster !
Turning the XT2 on and off while this is happening is an side show - a pastime that we like to engage in. It hasn't actually helped in this case ! Going and making a coffee is just as effective.
That's not to say that rebooting the Zumo is never necessary. IT sometimes is. Especialy if you have run out of coffee.
