can different map zoom levels be edited?

Zumo XT with latest CN North America NT maps...map detail set at More
from zoom level 1.2 mile to 2 mile completely unusable
I would like major highways ie. Interstates...US Hwy....State Hwy and town names to show at extended zooms for looking for towns ahead while navigating...I don't want to have to scroll the 1.2 mile page

I'd like to get CN North America NT on left to display like OpenMapChest on right at 2 mile and 3 mile zoom ranges
typ or theme editor???

Go to Settings/Display/Orientation and set to Auto and Save. then when at the 1.2 mile detail, rotate it to the portrait mode, with the Garmin logo on the front case bottom right. You'll be able to see the same detail nearly twice as far ahead. I ride with the portrait mode exclusively.

Turn on the Zumo and go to map view
Tap on the speed in the lower left corner
Touch and hold the speed in the top centre until you get to the diagnostic screen
click on "Developer Tests and Tools"
Click "Map drawing" then "Auto zoom"
You can change zoom settings in there
Sadly I don't think you will get the levels you want though

The way I understand the problem, it is not with the zoom level but with the fact that the NT map does not show details like city names and highway number once zoomed out beyond a certain level at which point it stops showing upcoming city and highway number labels. That zoom level is just too short to see very far ahead in regards to the names of upcoming municipalities and intersecting highways.

I have Garmin Navigator and Open Map Chest OSM maps loaded...as shown in the 6 panel image example I gave above they display different things at extended zoom. I'd like to get CN North America NT on left to display like OpenMapChest on right at 2 mile and 3 mile zoom ranges
I prefer to use Garmin Navigator for its features vs OMC OSM maps and looking for a way to alter Navigator to what shows up at extended zooms levels like OMC.
