Dear All
Which folder does BaseCamp store route data on my desktop PC?
And, what would the file extension be, so that I might locate same?
My apologies in advance if this question has already been asked but, if so, then I am using the wrong search criteria.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Do a search for AllData.gdb
That's the file that contains your BaseCamp database. The location varies depending on your OS.

On a PC, the default folder for alldata.gdb is
Code: Select all
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Garmin
If you created new database in a different location, or it has been moved, you can find it from the Edit menu:
- database.jpg (108.85 KiB) Viewed 3401 times
Here, you can see I put my database in my Dropbox cloud storage so I can access it from multiple computers.
You can move the database to a different location or a different computer with these instructions:
Transferring BaseCamp Data to New Database or Computer on Windows

Unfortunately the location of AllData.gdb isn't consistent across the various Windows OS, hence the simplest solution is just do a search for the .gdb file.
