Basecamp vs Zumo XT2 map

I have the same map installed on Basecamp as on my XT2 - NA 2025.20.
In the attached pic, you can see that Basecamp does not show a connetion between highway 15 and the north end of Rosedale Road. However, there is a road that connects from the shown end point on Rosedale Road to Hwy15- McLaughlin Road.
When I created this "ride" in BC, I ended up creating two routes. One followed highway 15 south to just before I turned onto McLaughlin and the other started where McLaughlin meets Rosedale.
However, if I were to create the "ride" on the XT2, I can create it as one route, since the XT2 shows McLaughlin road, and it has me turn east off of Highway 15 onto McLaughlin, then turn right/south on Rosedale Road.
I don't understand how BC and the XT2, having the same map, can show different possible routing information. Can someone help me, please?
Thank you.

Latest NA map is 2025.20, perhaps try updating the maps and see if the problem persists?

Thank you, sussamb. I apologize. The map version is a typo on my part. I am running 2025.20 on both BC and the Zumo.
I've just corrected my original post. Is there any other solution that you can offer. I follow you on the BC forum so I've relied on your wisdom with excellent results before.
I wasn't sure whether to post my question here or on that forum.

Have you tried using the XT2 mapping whilst in Basecamp to see if the problem still shows?
One way of getting around the gap, I think, is to have a via point at each end, and then have that segment as a "direct / off-road" routing.

I have not tried the XT2 mapping while in BC, simply because I don't know how. Can you please explain how I would do that.
As to creating an offroad link, I guess that would be possible, but then I would have 3 routes in BC instead of the 2 I now have. With respect, I don't see how that resolves the issue. I accept that I may be missing something, though.

In the same route, you would place a route point at the point where the road ends in Rosedale, I've named it "Rosedale end of road". You would then place another route point on Highway 15 where the missing road intersects, I've named it "Hwy 15". You then open the details of the route point at Rosedale and change its routing type to Direct. This will create a straight route line between the two points. Obviously my test route is not a real world scenario but should give you an idea of how to do it.

With the XT2 connected and being seen by Basecamp, ie you've had the warning that it's not directly supported, then in the maps drop down list, select it. I have a 595 that's not been updated to 2025.20 so it's easy for me to see which is which one.

That's really strange then, but worth trying to view the map from your Zumo as explained above to see what happens.

For now, I simply wanted to thank you all for your advice. I'll try both solutions and write back very soon.

@Oop North John I followed your advice. When I opened the maps drop down in BC, it showed the 2025-20 map on Zumo as one option. I selected that. It did not change that fact that McLaughlin Road does not show in BC.
I am attaching two pics. The first is a photoshopped map from BC. The heavy green line is approximately where McLaughlin Road meets with Hwy 15 and connects with Rosedale North. You can see that the road does not appear on the map.
The second pic is a screenshot of the instructions on the Zumo to get from Hwy 15 to Rosedale. You can see that it correctly shows a left turn from heading south on 15 to heading east on McLaughlin until it meets Rosedale North.
So, the problem is that, in BC, I cannot plan a route that includes turning left on to McLaughlin, since BC does not show that McLaughlin exist
@Peobody I will try your solution. A small issue will be that I don't know exactly where Montague meets 15 on the map nor where it intersects with Rosedale, since it is not on the map. I can select arbitrary locations and will be pretty close.
