Hi All,

I have very basic question that I tried to find out in the forum but I could not.. I think it is very basic that no one asked it 😁..

I just want to go to a destination from my current location on the bike. I receive 2 routes options, magenta and blue. What is the difference and how How to specify which route to take.
Thnx,
Didos

I'll respond here just to say that I don't know what you are talking about. I never see a blue option. I believe that the traffic function has offered me numerous options and I know that when I choose adventurous routing I will sometimes be presented with an option in grey which I can switch to by reducing the adventurous routing level but I know that these not what you are referring to. Sorry that I can't help.

On my XT2 I have seen blue routes and I think that they're ones calculated to give a better route, eg "faster" than the one currently in use.

I'll guess that the XT uses a similar logic, and to use the blue option accept the different route.

There is no XT option to select magenta or blue. Magenta is always your active route, the route TO your destination, the route the you are directed to follow by the the text/audible instructions.

I believe blue shows the path you've already taken. I think it appears when you have selected Travel History in Settings→Map & Vehicle→Map Layers.

Hi All,

Thank you for your responses.

I think better that I take a picture of what appears to me when I have it on screen.

Hopefully, I will be able to ride the weekend after this and I will take a picture and share it with the clarification.

Thank you all again,
Best regards,
Ibrahim
