Zumo 395 LM connection issue.

I am trying to connect our Interphone 8Rs to my 395. The Zumo finds mine and pairs but when I turn on my wife's unit and configure it for pairing, it forces me to disconnect the first unit or it won't connect.I does see the second set but apparently won't connect to both. I want to use the Zumo for music and converted (AAC to Mp3) audio books, so I need the Zump to cast to both. The only thing I see that is slightly different is a version name on my wifes unit. Vers. 1.0 for mine and 1.20 for hers but it came as a double kit.
What am I missing?

I am just wondering how many bluetooth channels does the 395 have? some devices have multiple bluetooth channels, maybe the 395 has only 1 bluetooth channel, dunno

Good question. I'll look into that.

Ok, Garmin tech says that the 395 will only connect with one headset. The XT has no such limitations. I guess I should heve bought a new one.

I don't think my XT will connect to two different headsets at the same time. A headset and a phone is no problem, but I don't see anything in the manual to suggest that using two headsets with the XT simultaneously is a possibility.

I can share Zumo music to our other Sena headset, but the music is passed along from one Sena headset to the other, not from the XT to both headsets. We seldom use the feature. Two-up rides are infrequent, and my wife prefers to listen to and control her own music from her phone.

After a lot of banging around online, I think I'll just use the '07 hard wire 5 pin setup, which I have in a box. It allows for 2 helmets plugged into the Wing's audio system. Intercom, Music/Audiobooks (with an line out mp3 player) and the onboard Nav. I know the Nav is limited but hell, we can use our phones if we need to find more up to date info. Going back to old school. It worked fine before. Our 2 month coast to coast across Canada will need audio content.
Thanks for the input guys.
