I'm trying to upload a large .gpx file to Garmin Explorer so I can send it to my Garmin Zumo device. I select the file, but it just keeps "loading" and nothing happens — no error message, and the file doesn't show up in my library.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a size limit for .gpx files in Explorer, or could it be something else?

That track is large, but with 13249 track points it should still be within the XT limits of 15000 points per track.

I think there is something else wrong in the gpx formatting, as Basecamp will not load the track: I even edited the gpx, removing all but a hundred track points, and received the same error message.

This file is read by Google My Maps, and the .gpx file was sourced from here: https://www.geoape.com/tracklogs/umber-eesti-5604

The problem is in the MetaData. If I remove the <keywords> line, it loads in BC.

Thank you! I understand the file is large, but why doesn't Garmin automatically split it into multiple tracks or something like that? How can I still get this file onto the navigation device?

Does it load all the way for you? It doesn't seem to load fully for me on the Garmin Explorer.

I dont use Explore, but in BaseCamp it loads fully.
