I've been refusing 4.7.0.0 nags for some time because of the problems I had with it before I went back to

Now when I try to download a route, it says "A newer version of Basecamp (4.7.0.0) is available for download. Please download the latest version" then it closes.

Is there a way to download a route to my 660 without using Basecamp.

I've not had issues like that and I'm still on 4.6.2

As for installing routes without BaseCamp, assuming you have the gpx file you can just copy the file to the GPX folder on your device.

It's been working fine for me until this morning.

I've been looking all over for the gpx file and I've only been able to locate old ones.

by "download a route" do you mean you want to send a route to your 660?
When you say you have been looking all over (for routes) but can only find old ones?
I too have to dismiss these nags .I am going to dig out my nuvi and see if i can send a new route i have been working on to it.I am running 4.6.2 as well

Just FYI I have no issues sending routes to any of my 5 Garmin devices.

Yes, send a route to my 660 from BC.

Long story, but a failed W10 update clobbered my user account. No data lost, just the account. I had to build a new account. I've been using BC just fine with the new account (after a bit of frustration getting it to recognize that my maps are unlocked). The gpx files that I've been able to find are in my old account folders, not the new one. Dunno.

ahh a different "user" then I dont know how to solve that issue,but i ws able to send a route to my nuvi today with 4.6.2.Al ot of nagging form express and basecamp though

Someone on the Garmin forum suggested using the firewall to block Basecamp's internet access. It worked. I was able to load the route that failed yesterday.
