Points missing when route transferred from BaseCamp to device

I recall someone having an issue with this a while ago but can't find the thread, but in case it helps others I came across this FAQ recently

Just looking at the Support Centre Article, tried looking for available updates in the "Help" drop down but there is no update option. Is there another way of checking for updates please?

If you mean BaseCamp then here

Beware though the latest versions have numerous issues, if you have Windows don't go beyond 4.6.2
