I've set a route that I now found takes me to and from a Hotel on a road that doesn't go to the hotel. I want to erase the section with the red flags and use the section with the blue flags. I can easily do the route, as I am sat in the hotel room right now, but I cannot see how to alter it on Basecamp .

To erase points simply ensure the route is selected so it's highlighted, then click on the eraser tool and delete any unwanted points.

To extend a route again ensure the route is highlighted, then click on the insert tool and hover over the end point until you see a black circle then click and you can then extend the route.

To move points use the move tool.

Combine all three as required to get the route where you want it.
