Stuck in a loop

Twice recently I've had a voice prompt go into a never-ending loop. The last one was 'bear left ahead', I let it run for a couple of miles, thinking that the next prompt would clear it but no, it would not stop. I switched the unit off and on several times which didn't help, the only way I got it to stop was to clear the route and restart it afresh, about 10 miles farther on, not a safety issue but annoying if it was to keep happening.
