I use a navigator V and am familiar with skipping a missed waypoint along the route.
My friend has recently got a 595lm which doesn't seem to have any means of manually skipping a missed point.
I've read through the many forum items and am surprised not to see it mentioned, so am I missing something? I have created a mini route on the GPS with a start, an end and the intermediate points. When I start the route and want to skip the first intermediate point, I can't find any way to do it.
Am I going mad?

Should be via Spanner in bottom right corner then select Change Route. You can then select whether to skip Next via point or Next shaping point along with other options

Thanks. 'Change Route' was not in the options that appear with the spanner, so I added it and found the 'skip' functions.

I wonder why It was set that way from new. On my navigator V you can put the 'skip' button on the screen so it's available with a single touch. The 595 requires four touches to do the same thing.
