Once the file(s) have uploaded you can add them anywhere within your post by clicking "place inline" also use this if you don't want to add any text if you want them adding to the end of the post then there is no need to click place inline.
Once finished click submit

I used a browser called Slimjet for awhile. I contains a fucntion that allows you to select clipboard content in addition to browsing for a file. This made it extremely to take a screen snip and then add it to a post. I changed to the Brave browser and missed that clipboard paste function so went looking for an extension that would do the same thing. I found Copy-n-Paste: Image Upload Simplified. It works differently from the feature in Slimjet in that it gives preference to clipboard content, requiring an extra click when you need to upload a file. Slimjet was the opposite. This is what it looks like if I intended to add the image of a snip of the Smilies. Clicking on the upper pane pastes the clipboard content (in this case the snip of the Smilies), clicking on "+ Upload File" opens the file browser.
