Pic 1 - Is the Main screen. Long press the 'go back' arrow in the bottom left of any screen to get to this page. Tap the Apps button - shown in red.

Pic 2 - Some of the apps that are available. Many more are available by scrolling the page. These apps can be moved around on this screen, Press down on the item to move. Wait. It detaches from the rest and you can move it to another location. A good game is to get all of the items that Garmin think are important - further down so that you never get to see them, and replace them with the ones that actually are important. See how many moves it takes. Probably best not to do it when riding though. A full reset of the XT will forget these changes, so you get to play another game.

Pic 3 - Shows the Traffic Information screen. It usually shows up with nothing on it, but zooming in reveals the probelm areas. For this it took me one click iof the Zoom + button. You can zoom in further to see the road works in a particular area. Tapping the bottom right return arrow puts back the white menu bar on the left hand side.
