Re: Looking for a quick disconnect mount
I’m just wanting a way to easily completely remove the XT2 and its mount. Swapping to another biker would be a bonus, but that’s not why I’m asking. I occasionally like to ride with my phone on the handlebars or to just ride without the GPS from time to time.

Looking for a quick disconnect mount
Hello,
Is anyone making a quick disconnect power mount for the XT2? Or has anyone come up with a creative idea to be able to remove the entire mount easily with some kind of waterproof power connector or maybe an inline power connection using SAE connectors or maybe Powerlet? Thanks.

Re: Maximum Via and shaping points in a route for XT2
Thanks for the detailed answers jfheath and biglew55 . It seems like the limits are much higher for the XT2 which, in my opinion, gives us more flexibility. For example, the Blue Ridge Parkway is about 486 miles long and I may want to put a via point every 5 miles or so. Or, if I choose to use fewer ...

Maximum Via and shaping points in a route for XT2
Hello, I've previously found these references and am trying to verify they are the still accurate for the XT2. From Garmin - https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=7S1IiE1e7H4Iw1svGjJlb6 "Your device has the Trip Planner or Route Planner tool or app and has an amount limit of 30 waypoints per route ...

Re: Different items in Tread/Explore app vs explore website
Replying to my own post. I tried again today and I have no idea what happened but now my iPad matches both the explore website and my iPhone. Everything finally synced.

Different items in Tread/Explore app vs explore website
Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has had this issue where the items are different between the Tread and/or Explore app on an IOS device vs what’s shown on the explore website (on any device)? I paired my iPhone and it matches both the XT2 and the explore website in terms of collections, waypoints, and ...

Would you consider the 396 or 595 speedy?
Hello,
Long time owner of a 395 and I'm familiar with the differences between these two units. What frustrates me about the 395 is how slow the unit is when recalculation or searching for a POI. Any owners out there who have had both units and are they any faster? Thanks.
