Re: Zumo XT2 - Software v 6.60

jfheath Thanks for taking the time John!

Honoustly it would have surprised me if they would have fixed it for the XT2, but not for the XT3. Or at least sooner for the XT2 than the XT3. I did a test a few weeks ago with my XT3 and it definitely showed the same RUT behaviour as my XT did a few ...

Tread Changes Exisiting Routes - Shaping Point Issues (XT3)

It looks like there is yet another workaround for this problem available on the XT3 . No it doesn't work for the XT2 ! I call it the "Wireless transfer method", explained below.

Re: Any tips to fix RUT without computer?

You will need a GPS fix for this to work, or use the simulator. The Zumo needs to calculate from your location to the start.

Re: Any tips to fix RUT without computer?

Isn't it enough to “simply” o pen the imported route without starting navigation, and then save a copy of it on the device ?
Then the copy would also have the “ Saved ” flag and wouldn't be interpreted as “imported,” so it would be less of a problem for RUT.

Tell me, am I remembering this wrong ...

Re: Any tips to fix RUT without computer?

Frank B: What goes wrong is that without actually starting the route, ie sitting at my desk, there is no option to save it under a new name. I'll try simulator.

Right. Indeed you first have to start the route. Then switch back to the trip planner and select 'my active route' (or similar). If ...

Re: Any tips to fix RUT without computer?

I seem to recall that you can start the Imported route, stop, save it under a new name, and it will show up in Saved. But trying that at home, no dice,

Can you give more details? What exactly goes wrong?

Re: Hi from the UK

Spent some time today with Trip Manager and using FrankB's method 5 I successfully loaded all my MRA routes to the XT2. Once you get the hang of it, it so quick and every route worked perfectly on the desktop.

It should be noted that I did the programming, but without the help of users of this ...

Re: Importing .gpx files into Zumo XT3

Assuming you first want to select a collection, and then a route within that collection.

From the Main Screen.

- Click on 'Saved'
- On the Top left select 'Collections'. (It could also read: All, Waypoints, Tracks, Routes)
- Select the Collection
- Select a route within thatt collection
- Hit Go ...
