Nope that didn't work. The WIFI is switched off and it still checks for updates before shutting down

How do you stop the XT from checking for an update every time it turns itself off?

Only had it on for the first time this morning (Amazon were being really stupid delivering it), but I had no problems this morning. We'll see how it goes tonight

Why does it do this? It is very noticeable on a song which starts with lyrics. Instead of the song starting "This is a very sad song" it will go "a very sad song" EDIT: It now get's even more frustrating. I just paired my phone with the XT and played a song which started with lyrics and it started ...

Well I'm using the cigarette lighter connection plugged into the usb on the xt, but I wish they had put a usb connector on the cradle

Does the Motorcycle mount have a usb connection?
I'm getting one delivered on Friday, and I already have a 12v Socket installed on my motorbike, so it will be a lot easier just to plug the "cigarette lighter" in to the mount then to fiddle around with the car mount.
