My two 595-ed 590s. I find them bright enough, and have no difficulty seeing them in pretty much all situations. I mount them on the left hand side of my bars, just a nice spot to glance at.

I had a 550, then a 660, then my 590/5. I've never found the screen visibility on any of them to be a problem, even in bright light. I do have the 590/5 theme set to Slovensko, but that's just because I like it, not because it helps readability.

I have no problem with screen readability on either of my two 590s (both with 595 firmware). From vague memory of when I looked at the XT on introduction, many of the features I need to use on the 595 are not on the XT or XT2, so neither suits my particular usage scenario - no line out for voice ...

Hmmmm.... I don't believe the 590 or 595 has reached the end of it's "Useful life" though. It does not fit with any of that description.

I've no idea about how it works on a Mac, as all the firmware flashing I've done (Mainly flashing 590 to 595) has been under Windows. More strangeness.... Set the Zumo to Bluetooth audio, bluetooth phone to bike, start Spotify, go into Zumo media player, and will pause/start/skip Spotify!

Thought I'd try some older versions again, but none will install on the current Android version....
