When I charge the XT with the cord in back it charges up and works normally. It will not charge on the powered mount, goes dim and shuts off when the battery runs down. the pins on the powered mount are showing 12V. If it is off and I plug it in to the powered mount it turns on, but it ins not charg...

OK. I have the ZUMO XT. I wiil figure out what I have to do. I don't have a music app on my PC. I have to take care of that first I guess.
On long cross country rides I listen to serous/xm thru the app, When I have no internet I want to use the ZUMO music.

Just got a Zumo XT and I would like recommendations on an basic laptop for using with it, bring along on motorcycle trips (base camp). I will also be loading music files so what is a good size SD care. I know, dum bass questions , but I am a bit tech deficient.
