Re: Voice navigation gone
Hi FrankB I also searched and discovered the source of the TTSTD British Isles maps and the fact that they are routable. I need to experiment and find out what these offer over and above the CN maps. I have deselected all but the North & South CN maps and will test in that format. To confirm my ...

Re: Voice navigation gone
Again, thank you for the advice and interest in this issue. I have never knowingly added any maps to my device and all the maps present (listed in my previous post) were loaded and selected from day one out of the box. So the how did the duplicate British Isles map get there and why would all the ...

Re: Voice navigation gone
Good news. I have solved my problem. While typing my response (see below) to the suggestions posted one thing suddenly occured to me, and after a quick drive round the block proved my inkling to be true. You will see in the text below a list of maps installed on my Zumo XT ending with two identical ...

Re: Voice navigation gone
Thank you for your replies and suggestions. I should have mentioned in my original post, spoken navigation is switched on so it's not that. And I have tested it while being a passenger in our car, with the volume turned up, still no commands so I know it's not the headset or connection to it. Thanks ...

Voice navigation gone
Hello all I wonder if someone can help. Recently my Zumo XT has stopped giving me voice navigation commands. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly when, so I can't tie it down to a particular event such as a software upgrade. It makes no difference whether I create a route using MRA or Basecamp, or ...

Re: Garmin Explore app
Lots of folk talk about MyRouteApp. I think I'm going to have to dive in and give it a try.
Thanks

Re: Garmin Explore app
Thanks for your reply John. I'm trying to find an easy way to create routes when away without taking a laptop and power brick. Phones and tablets charge over USB. I would prefer to use Basecamp, but that requires a laptop. Explore at first sight should be an ideal candidate yet it is very annoying ...

Re: Garmin Explore app
Thanks for your reply Stu
I hadn't realised the apps are basically Web interfaces. It stands to reason they are identical then.
Cheers
Philip

Garmin Explore app
Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Does anyone know if there are any differences between the android and iOS versions of Garmin Explore? I ask as I have an iPhone and a Samsung tablet. If I create routes etc on one, will it show identically on the other? And are there likely to be any gotchas ...
