Re: SiriusXM radio
I'm a retired ASE master auto tech, and did a LOT of mods to the Valk. Best was installing a belly tank. Designed and sold by a guy in Moses Lake WA. It gives you an extra 3.5 gals of fuel, fully automatic and aesthetically invisible!

Re: SiriusXM radio
Great insight! Thanks! I got the XM antenna used for the cost of shipping so I may try the bottom tier subscription to see if I like it before upgrading. I like your bike choices! I had a 98 Valk, then a 98 Wing SE. Now im on a BMW R1150RT!

Re: zumo 550 traffic reciever
That's what I found also, but that's for a XM subscription. I'll go that way if need be, but it also states A GTM-20, I have two, one with the mini USB that is used with older nuvi's and the same unit that plugs into the automotive mount, which works as it should. I can't find any pictures of the ...

Re: zumo 550 traffic reciever
Not useless at all! Thanks. The photo in the manual shows the cable clearly mark. It plugs into the mount right beside the plug for the hardwire harness . single mico Phillips head screw holding a rubber plug . Remove that and below it is a type B USB socket to install either a fm traffic receiver ...

zumo 550 traffic reciever
I recently acquired a 550 with the waterproof motorcycle mount. I have been trying to locate a traffic receiver to install in it. I have the GTM-20 which plugs into the automotive mount and works great. My problem is with the motorcycle mount. the manual shows the optional antenna mounting in the ...

Re: transfering files from internal storage to SD card
I was talking about the GTM-60 traffic receiver used to get traffic updated. It also has the same usb plug, but it cant be connected via the data transfer port under the bottom cover. There is a second input port on the side of the cradle mount when the Zumo is installed.

Re: transfering files from internal storage to SD card
Like I stated, I'm a total lost to all this and need a hand holder. So to delete the excess files, where do I begin? I can open up the Zumo on my PC, and see tons of file but how do I determine what's priority for the system to work and what can be taken out to the trash? I'm grateful for your ...

Re: transfering files from internal storage to SD card
I am still in the initial set up process right now so I'll stick with the 4 gig card till everything is stable. Now my issue is that Garmin states for the 550, a traffic receiver part number GMT-60 cable is required. yet when I connect the cable the Zumo gives me the error message "the device is not ...
