There is a master volume and a mixer volume. Then there is the volume on your headset. Typically the master volume control is not available with BT, and control is on the headset itself. I have the Cardo edge. Volume is controlled by the wheel on the side - but that seems to have a limit. "Hey ...

well mysteriously it went back to normal yesterday,voice, alerts and music all normal, i hadnt altered any of the settings on the cardo or satnav, ive just put the bike in for a major service so cant try it again till i pick the bike up hopefully this afternoon

Yes it comes with separate adjustment for music alerts and maps, the music has been turned down and voice and alerts are at max

the 590 does indeed have individual mixers, the volumes of the alerts and navigation are set at 100% and are very quiet ive turned down the music volume to 30% so i can have my cardo packtalk at max to help hear them without being blasted by the music ive used my zumo for thousands and thousands of ...
