It should be the same, but it is not, as mentioned by dhwalt and myself. We don't have the Install to PC option with our Europe map.
This must be a bug.

I don't have an XT2, just an XT. I have the Europe map and perhaps that is why I don't get the option to install to the PC, that people apparently get with the North America map.

Strange that the same SW/HW combination works for some users and not for others. Could you please explain exactly how you got Express 7.24.0 to install the map on your PC? The option just isn't there in my version of 7.24.0

Thank you very much Dave! I found it now, it turned out I had to disconnect the XT before this showed up.
I hope that Garmin will fix this issue in an update, I think the same problem cropped up with another update some time ago, and it was later fixed.

I have just updated my map to Europe NTU 2026.1 and then I noticed that it has only installed it on the XT but not on the PC. I found your post and I downgraded Express to 7.23.0. How do I now proceed to install the map onto my PC? I don't see an option for this in Express. Can you explain what you ...
