Re: Duplicate multiple waypoints to a different list?

I would copy the old route to the new list, duplicate it there, then remove the old route and waypoints.

Re: Zumo XT voice instruction at roundabout

Presumably if Garmin doesn't know it's a one-way road it will tell you to take the second exit, and if it does know it'll tell you to take the first exit. What do you want to check?

Re: MRA to Drive

I tend to export the MRA gpx v1.1 to the machine I'm using (usually my tablet), then move it to my phone, either via email or simply by file transfer. Once it's on the phone, opening it or sharing it should give you the Drive option.

Re: Garmin Express v7.25.0 has been released

My Windows 11 has Smart App Control off, and tells me that I have to re-install Windows if I want to turn it on.

Re: Route points: Some non-alerting, some alerting

This is all sounding very complicated. My simple rule is that shaping points go on junctions, default is not to announce, via points never go on junctions, default (IIRC) is to announce. "Turns" to me are simply products of a route once it has been formed, not part of its formation.

Re: Route points: Some non-alerting, some alerting

It's not a complete answer, but if you insert a point on a junction it doesn't alert.

You could try saving the file to your device, then trying to open it. That might give you the option you need.

Are you sure Russ's method won't allow you to do this? When I can find a tuit I'll try it myself.

Re: CN NA NT 2026.10 is available

IIRC, GE always downloads as "GarminExpress.exe" but it is a full version so renaming it as a filename that includes the version number works for the purpose of re-installation (I use GE_<version>.exe, like GE_7.24.0.0.exe). The only GarminExpress.exe on my PC is five years old. I'm running 7.24.0 ...

Re: Hello.

2.I am also looking to install the XT2 on my 2021 BMW R1250 GS Adventure having removed the OEM Nav Prep. I may put a BMW repair plug on and use the vacant Plug/Socket left by the said OEM Nav Prep. I've not come across the BMW repair plug. I wired my XT in to the original loom using a £20 lead ...
