Updating its supplied mapping is via its built in Wi-Fi.

Are you saying that it can't be done via USB? If so then another reason I would avoid.

FWIW I have been using Mapsource for well over a decade without issues but when I tried with the new 2019.2 it started crashing and I caved in and started using Basecamp. Windows 10.

The venerable Garmin 276C and the current 276Cx have a certain following amongst motorcyclists. These models have a lot in common with the Zumos.

Perhaps some consideration could be given to creating a Sub-forum for them?
