Hello I'd like to share how to easy send any location from Google Maps in mobile directly to XT on iOS.
Just tap anywhere in Google Maps (not directly to the POI, just next to the point to get coordinates):
Than tap once to the coordinates to copy it:
Finally open Garmin Drive and paste the coordinates, BUT remove brackets and hit Enter:
That is, dunno why Google uses the brackets, but this is really helpfull for me to use Drive to send any dest to device.
Cheers.

'What 3 Words' works extremely well in conjunction with the Drive app & the XT.BrAtKo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 8:15 am Hello I'd like to share how to easy send any location from Google Maps in mobile directly to XT on iOS.

Do you not get the option to choose other apps? On android if the app is not there you click "more" then you get another list of apps and if its not there you click "more" again and it brings up even more apps

Of course I've tried, there is NO Drive app listed anywhere, you cannot to add it there. I think this needs to be reported to Garmin, I will do that. Thanks Stu.

Re: Easy way to send any place from Google Maps
I thought I had posted a reply but it hasn't appeared so I apologize if this ends up a duplicate.
The crux of my original reply was that I could not get Google Maps to work on my iPhone either due the Drive app not being available to select as a share destination. Another thing I found was that if you selected a POI in the Google Map there was no way to access its coordinates at least not that I could find. The solution is to use the iOS Map app. It shows the Drive app as a share destination and allows you to share both POIs and dropped pins. My tests of both worked as expected, creating a route to the shared location or offering to add it to an active route. Invoking the share option is different. I requires a long touch-hold on a POI or, when using a dropped a pin, dropping a pin first and then long touch-holding on that pin.

Google seems to be encouraging use of its "Plus Codes" to share locations rather than long/lat coordinates - very frustrating if you want to use non-Google apps.
The copy/paste method given in the first post in this thread should still work with iOS devices:
Press and hold on a location to create a pin, then tap the pin. An information page will appear that includes the address, if one is assigned. If no address is assigned, the latitude/longitude is displayed. Tap the address or coordinates to copy to the clipboard. Open the Drive app, paste into the Where To? box.
