New phone s22u , no notifications. Help please

Yesterday was my first day with my s22u android 12 . Worked OK, data worked, music display. My issue is none of my notifications come through. On the Garmin drive, I enabled the requested permissions at setp. Not sure how to correct this... my old s9 worked fine. Not sure if it's a 6.4 thing, or my samsung s22 phone thing. I don't use coms, so that's not in the equasion.
Any help, tips, or info would be great. It was super handy for text, Facebook messenger, heck me security camera notified as well. Thanequation.

I use an iPhone which handles notifications via Smartphone services. Assuming the XT works the same with an android phone, on the XT check that Smartphone services is enabled, Smart Notifications are connected, and the desired smart notifications are selected.

It is a bug of the GARMIN DRIVE application with android 12 especially with Samsung. Many tickets have already been opened to technical support around the world and I have also sent all the log files to fix the problem. Today they confirmed to me that it will be fixed with an upcoming update of the DRIVE application. You can chat or call and open another ticket

Thank you for the information, as long as I have company I'm good with it being a bug. It's when you're alone it gets more frustrating

I am having the same problem. I tried with two different phones, a Pixel 6 Pro and a Pixel 3, both running Android 12. Notifications don't work at all on either. I opened a ticket yesterday with Garmin.

Yes, I got email from Tech Support today. New version of Drive fixes it.
