The original hope was to find a way to prevent spoken navigation from interrupting intercom communication. That doesn't appear possible so disabling spoken navigation has been pursued. Intercom communication needs to remain functioning.
Well I'm not sure exactly what you are doing but you must be missing something somewhere as mine works perfectly as does my two mates with the same setup!
Have you made sure intercom has priority on the headset? This can be found in the cardo connect app
All good today. Spoken navigation was turned off and intercom was never interrupted. I review all settings before departing and everything looked fine so the only difference between it working today and not yesterday was a that the XT was shut down overnight.

I have noted before that sometimes some changes I have made have not worked until after a reboot. I have never tried to find out when a reboot is required.
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
