Animation of GPX file

Post by CollingsBob »

I would like to create an animation using a gpx file to use in a video about an upcoming trip. I would integrate GoPro, drone and stills footage. I can create the animated sections using Relive..Is there another program?

I looked at ways of doing this a while back and the only way I came up with involved far too much work.

So I just had another look. There are a few available now, including google earth, but the ones that I found seem to keep the direction of travel the same and move the map around it. Not easy to watch.

That looks good ! I think I have ridden that road too, part of a 3 week camping tour of Scotland and Ireland. It was misty and we crossed miles of peat moors.
