New on here

Post by Berin »

Hi All, new here, but a long time Garmin user. I have a 590 and 595 for road use and Montana for tracks and trails. I use Basecamp on Mac for most planning, as well as the Memory-Map OS maps for UK trail riding.

I’ve just tried the battery fix on the 590/595, and I’m testing it now.

Most irritating thing at the moment is the inability to turn of the visual alerts on the 595, which flash up constantly for every bend, speed limit and hedgehog crossing!

Welcome! I'd love to turn off the visual alerts on the 595. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs a swift kick in the rump!
