Hi all,
I have been quite successful sending TRACKS that I created in REVER via the Drive App. However, I just created some ROUTES in Basecamp and imported them the same way, using the Drive App. The App said the transfer was successful and I saw an alert on my XT saying that new Routes were in the Trip Planner. But I can't find them! Aargh!
I looked in Trip Planner and tried the IMPORT button but there isn't anything there to select. Did I miss a step? Am I looking in the wrong place? Could there be a file transfer issue?
Help, I'm pulling out my hair and I really can't afford to lose what I have left.
(PS: Yes, I searched. And Googled. No luck yet)
Not finding imported routes on my XT.

Re: Not finding imported routes on my XT.
I had the same problem when trying to transfer routes created in Basecamp to the XT via the Drive app. I don't remember how I resolved it but have an inkling that it was a reboot of the XT that then made the routes visible to import. Sorry if that doesn't work.

I'll give that a try right away. I certainly don't want to continue to build routes in Basecamp if I can't use them!Peobody wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 2:16 am I had the same problem when trying to transfer routes created in Basecamp to the XT via the Drive app. I don't remember how I resolved it but have an inkling that it was a reboot of the XT that then made the routes visible to import. No luck with that. At least by rebooting you mean turning it fully off and then back on.

Re: Not finding imported routes on my XT.
I just did a test using a .gpx file in my iCloud. I shared it with the Drive app which acknowledged receipt and asked if I wanted to send it to the XT. I said yes, it showed the transfer progress, then the XT displayed a notice that it was adding the trip to Trip Planner. That route was immediately visible in Trip Planner.

Re: Not finding imported routes on my XT.
I did the same thing exactly and got the same confirmations. Except I don't see anything listed under SAVED TRIPS or in the IMPORT list. Where exactly in the Trip Planner did you find it? Was it just listed automatically or did you have to import it?
Boy this is frustrating.

It was listed automatically. Apps > Trip Planner > Saved Trips.

I wish I could help but I'm clueless as to what the problem could be.

Re: Not finding imported routes on my XT.
Repeat the exercise. That isn't normal behaviour.
When sending files via the Drive App, the routes, tracks and Waypoints are imported automatically. The actual file containing them is stored in the Gpx folder in internal storage. If it is there, you should be able to import whatever you want from it. If it isn't there, then the transfer process from Drive did not work, or did not complete. It takes a short while to complete the transfer by BT. Maybe something happened to interrupt it ?
