Relative newbie to Zumo 590

Post by dtrack »

Hi, bought a bike a couple of years ago that came with a Zumo 590. I've been struggling with issues of being forced to go back to a point in the route that I missed. After reading several posts here I think I have it figured out now.
Between BC and and the Zumo there's a lot of little details to learn.
Thanks to all the experienced users here who have shared their knowledge.

Welcome to the forum. It is a great place to figure out problems and learn different ways of doing things. Riding and traveling styles vary; what works well for one person doesn't necessarily fit another. The discussions here create an understanding of what is happening behind the scenes so that we can determine why things work, don't work, and works best for you.

Read the first post. It tells you what to do.
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
