Gentlemen, we have a problem!

I didn't think about the tight cockpit of the CS. The RAM mount system won't fit off the mounting stay, I have offered the Zumo unit up while I wait for my mounting stuff and power lead.

On the 80GS no problem, bags of room on the handlebars and no cockpit fairing to get in the way.

I have had a look at those, but I think the master cylinder or choke lever are too close to the mirror stem to make use of that method, plus the mirror stem is very close to the fairing and screen. I don't think there is room. Maybe I should keep the Zumo and sell the R100CS

I've seen RAM mounts that fit other bikes over the steering stem. There a number of manufacturers and styles.

Screw a ram ball on a custom made plate?
