Any recommendations, is it worth down sizing the map from Europe and UK to just a UK map?

I know this sounds stupid, but searching for my postcode it comes up with my road name in every other town than where I live in London!

it could be that you have done all the updates with it being a new unit and it may need a factory reset! sometimes this happens

Downsizing the map won't help solve that issue. Using the postcode search it came straight up on mine
other ways worked too but not as easy as postcode search
I suspect a factory reset is in order

Just a tip for young players.
Never put your actual home address in a GPS (or other portable device) as "home". If the device gets stolen your home address will be very useful to all sorts of people. To start with anybody who has the GPS can safely assume there is at least one motorcycle at the location.
In my case my "home" address is an intersection about 500 metres from my actual house. I'm pretty sure I don't need a GPS to navigate from there to home and the extra 30 seconds it takes makes no difference on route planning.
In the same vein if you store routes do not start the route at your home address. I usually use a close service station as the start of routes as most times I go there to fill up at the start of va ride anyway.
