I wonder if it could be based on regions too

Like they do with mobile phone updates

I tried again just now. Everything OK. There is the updated version of the map, 2023.20. Mystery of life

I suspect I was right above that its a regional thing!

They must be releasing them to certain regions at a time so not to overload their servers

Yes and I know someone within the UK who had this update on the day it came out for all garmin devices available for his nav VI

So I wonder if they held it back for your region
