Another Biker from the UK

Post by MedicDan »

Hello one and all from Blighty, better known to some as the U.K.

Recently picked up a Garm,in Zumo XT for my motorcycle exploits and currently pulling my hair out at seemingly simple problems with this thing.

First issue I'm having is uploading pre-planned .GPX files via Garmin Drive from my phone (iPhone XR). No issue sending the files but when they're saving, they seem to get so far and just 'hang'. Just uploaded one file and it's been stuck in 87% for the past 10 mins.

Welcome. Your name suggests you are of exceptional character and wisdom ;-) so I'm curious what bike you ride. This Dan, on the far side of the pond, rides a 2018 Kawaski H2 SX SE, having previously owned such rides as BMW, BSA, Honda, and even a Harley - only it was the 250 Sprint, an Italian bike re-badged.

Hope you get your XT sorted out.

I don't know about that but I do my best.

I ride a 2016 Triumph Tiger 800 XRT and to date, it's the best bike I've owned.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Sorry I can't help with the transfer issues! Mine just works but then its android :D

Apple products are known to cause some issues when it comes to connecting to sat navs and headsets all I can suggest is deleting all the pairing and apps and starting again ensuring all settings are correct
