lol. This is silly, but after I posted that solution...unplugged the Zumo, plugged back in. "Not connected" AGAIN!!
Haha, so trashing the Garmin Express app, re-installing it, worked once AGAIN! Haha. I don't get it. I also killed all Garmin apps and services in Activity monitor...so it's not a rogue service or something. Perhaps it's writing to a library file that isn't getting updated properly.
Anyway, it's not too bad, takes about 30 seconds. But so glaringly obviously a bug. I can't believe it even exists. My OS is locked at a version from like 4 years ago too...so it's not like it's because Garmin hasn't tested on this OS version...or maybe they haven't haha.
