TPMS sensor compatibility

Post by Pittburgman »

I have a zumo 590. From a Can Am, if that means anything.

I'm trying to locate TPMS sensors for it... Anyone know where to get them or a compatible set?

Thanks!

I believe that you have to buy the garmin sensors. They are discontinued. I see one pair on eBay for $150 - seems very high. I have a similar type of TPMS. Looked at the Garmin instructions, and just for "fun" I'm going to see if the sensors for will pair up with my Garmin.

Tried a pair of Tire Gard sensors. Look similar to the Garmin, but they aren't found when the Zumo searches for them. So, it looks like Garmin TPMS sensors or a separate system. I'm actually very pleased with the TireGard. Although I think it may also be discontinued.
